Stolen trailer

So I bought a trailer on the 14th since I couldn't locate one quickly enough to go to Kentucky. This morning it was gone. It even had one of those thick kryptonite cables looped in the tires and around the leaf springs.

It's a black and wood tilt deck with an orange lifting jack on the front. White wheels with the holes, not the spokes.

Colorado tag, J047259

Second trailer I've lost in 3 years from the exact same spot... Luckily I have insurance on it this time so it's not a total loss. :flamemad:

Yea, I know... I'm trying to figure out what diety I pissed off....

Correction on the plate #, I just found the registration, I guess the other number was a title number or something... it's Colorado 755-OMB

What part of the Springs was it taken from? I'll be out and about today so I'll keep an eye out for it.

Two stolen trailers and two stolen cars were recovered today in Greeley. One of them yours?

dude, i live right down the road from you. was it parked in a cul-de-sac and on the west side of peterson? I remember seeing one parked there.

Well, the gods have decided to take pity on me. The trailer was recovered tonight from a street about 6 blocks from the house. The bastards even put the cable back in the tires (cut of course) to keep it from rolling away.

I'm going to pick it up tomorrow from the impound lot.

Well, $84 later I have my trailer back home. No, they didn't catch who did it. I had to pay the tow fee in order to have it released to me.

No damage to it other than a bent plate and they cut the plug off and spliced in a 4 pin trailer plug using duct tape.

Joe

Glad to hear it's back. Guess you'll be investing in something like this very soon?
