My trailer was stolen recently from a storage area in Channahon, IL. Channahon is just outside of Joliet, IL. and about 40 minutes southwest of Chicago. Last time I saw the trailer was when I parked it there 3 weeks ago.
It is a 20' dual axle open car trailer. I just painted it to match the truck...black frame, toreador red metallic fenders. There is a black storage box on the tongue. Inside the box were blue ratchet straps, and axle straps. There were also 2 extra-heavy duty ramps. The ramps were still grey and a little rusty. There was a lock on the coupler so I am not sure how they got it away, so it may have a new coupler welded to the front. The deck is wood, just replaced about 1 year ago, and unfinished. It has 2x12 risers painted gray to allow my door the clear the fenders.
Please keep an eye out and let me know if you see or hear anything about it. I posted this on the drag racing forums I visit, as well as a few 4x4 forums. I figure it might show up at a race track or off road park.
