Stolen Honda - Lancaster / Palmdale Area

My buddy Josh (some of you met him at SoCal Fest last year, he was driving a chili pepper red '98 XJ) had his '91 Honda Civic stolen last night between midnight and 5:00 If you find it give a shout, we'd like the car back....

Identifying marks... Somewhat recent damage from being rear ended.

Dude, That sucks! That was a nice little EF. Makes me miss my sedan. Those cars are wayyy to easy to get into and steal. Luckily they only took it for a joy ride as i cant see it being stripped down.

the only way that thing isnt stripped down by now is if they got interrupted and had to ditch it, or it broke down on them.

If they took anything it would have been the fenders and or hood. That thing probably still had the Original D15 which isn't worth much. Plus, from the pics.. it looks as if all the wheels/ tires didn't match. My guess is that it had an aftermarket stereo and the retards took it to pull it and ditched it somewhere. It will show up in 1 week. Ask me how i know! :P

Geoff, tell your buddy it's time to move from Lancaster. That place is a dump! Hell, it's technically safer where i live. And i live 2 blocks east of Crenshaw BLVD. Weeessst Sidddeeee!

they always steal and strip older stock hondas, as i found out the hard way, as did former roomates in the same house. No honda was safe in mira mesa lol

Hondas from 88-99 are just really easy to take. My Key could get into any Acura/ Honda. You need to lock it up in the garage if you dont want it taken.

had my 91 sedan stolen once, my 88 sedan stolen twice, GF's 89 stolen 2 times and her 98 civic stolen 2 times.

I dont own those any more as i was tired of paying 250 to recover them from the impound. Don't get me started on impound fees. What a rip off!
 
On an unrelated note, if anyone needs parts for a 91 Honda Civic, hit me up I've got one I'm parting out cheap.

I don't know offhand but the engine wasn't stock, CRX motor or Acrua motor...

Wheels may have matched, pictures were taken at different times. I havne't seen it in awhile.


As for hte stereo - If they stole it for the one he had in there they were desperate!
 
Ya know, I was just realizing that of the 52 cars I've owned, none have been hondas...except some bikes. And none have ever been stolen...coincidence?

there's reasons why my 1994 civic was twice as much as my 2000 civic for insurance. and the 2000 civic was twice as much as my 1999 mustang gt convertible. theft, and punk ass kids wrapping them around trees or other cars.

yea, i live in or at least near the ghetto in escondido, and i have far less issues than that "nice" part of Mira Mesa. what a shithole. worst place i have ever lived, and i grew up in connecticut.
 
I have had 2 cars broken into once they took the sterio once they destroied the interior cuz they couldn't get the sterio out. Broke 3 windows and spray painted swasticas(spelling?) All over it. Funny thing is I was never a skin head. Anywho. Hope they find it soon.
