Stock driveshaft with new u joints

I put u joints in this shaft before figuring out I needed a slip yoke eliminator.

Came out of a 2001 XJ with an NP242.

I'll let it go for the cost of the u joints. $30

damn, I need this. Too bad you're so far away. Let me know if you get no local takers and are willing to ship. I probably need a front as well, not to mention front axle U-joints. My stuff is old and busted, but I can't steal anything from my old one but maybe the front axle shafts (but that's a lot of work as I bet the bearings are original) as that one has a 231 and my 2000 has the 242, which I'd like to keep.

Anyone know if the front is the same 231 and 242? Now that I think about it I have a front shaft in storage that was an extra for my '99. I could just rebuild that and swap it in. (My goal is to minimize downtime by having rebuilt shafts on deck - and I probably should get some front axle shafts as well)

OK looks like you've got a local deal but let me know if this falls through. I do see new U-joints in my future and would like to get a set of extra shafts (front, rear, and front axle)
