Correct gears for a hp won't work in your LP. I'd buy new and aI'd buy Superior or Yukon to save on later headaches.

I have a '97 d30 and cry 8.25 w/4.11 and am located just south of Boston if your intereted. Complete drum to drum (rotor to rotor). I picked them up about a year ago for a MJ and have never installed them. Interested?
