im redoing my stereo system.

My plans are 5.25 up front, 6x9 in soundbar, 5.25 in the hatch, 2 8" subs where the cup holders are in the back seat (like the sub box enclosure mod only I would rather have 2 8" than 1 10")

I went to brandmart and they didn't have 8's but he tried to set me up with a RF 1200w 4 channel amp, 4 Infinity 5.25" 60w each, and 2 Inf 135w each. He said to run the front off of my JVC KDAR6250 head (I dont remember wattage, but is 15w RMSx4 and 1 RCA output) and the rest off of the amp.

Overkill???

Anything you would change? I dont know about running off of the head.

I plan to buy off ebay to save money

If you put Kickers in the front then you don't need a sub. That's what I did. It sounds awesome. Even my kids Rap crap sounds better in my xj than most of the punk sports cars around town.
