Steering pump mod for hd-cylinder

Hi,

yust like to ask what has to be modified on the steering pump, to use a hydraulic cylinder for the steering.

Is the original one useful for, or what do you take?
I saw a lot of "one-rod cylinders" at modified XJs, but I think you'll need a left and right steering with the same oilflow, so it "should" be better to use a cylinder with a double-side rod, where you have the same capacities of the tube.

But how does the other guys with the standard cylinders work? who could explain?
