My steering was getting a bit sluggish so here's what I did--
Replaced the pump- helped for a week -then like no power steering
Replaced the Gear- NO CHANGE!!!!
I noticed that the ujoint at the pump didn't work very well, very tight. That's all I can think would be a problem. With wheels off the ground I can still tell that things aren't "right". Replacement parts are used, off a newer(94) xj that worked fine when removed. Can someone help with the diagnosis, there's not much else to do here.
