steering box

so im driveing down the road and go to make a turna nd my steering wheel locks up then goes and then locks up again im assuming its the steering box cause i poped the cap and all my fluid looks good no bubbles and is fine in color but dam my heart stoped

or your power steering pump. check the belt and make sure its tight and there isn't anything contaminating the belt which can make it slip and not squeal like a dried out pig.. I'm sure you will get more posts with other opinions. Good Luck..

Check your drag link and tie rod, make sure it is not hanging up on anything.

Thats what I would say also drag link bind on maybe your sway bar link. I would think you would have to have a really f--ked off steering box for those kind of problems. maybe check the belt like they said or the pump. I am not a pro just my 2 cents
