It's hardly accurate to claim Texas has petitioned to secede with 40,000 signatures considering it has a population of well over 25 Million.

I mean, who are these 40,000 people? Do they hate Obama so much (for ruining America - in their minds) that they're willing to ruin it themselves? Were they dropped on their heads as infants; did they eat play-doh before the company switched to a non-toxic formula? What exactly makes these people want to remove United from the United States of America?

Yeah, all this was tried before, back in '61.

Didn't go over so well...

(Yes, that'd be 1861...)

These are probably some of the same people that have stated sometime in their life "Love it or Leave it" well maybe they should take their own advice and leave. There are regions in this world these folks can move to that have little or no government intervention on the populace.

Those folks that are part of the petition group please give my wishes to Alec Baldwin & Jeannie Garafalo who both stated eight years ago they would leave the U.S.A. if George W. Bush was re elected.

I'm actually longing for a civil war in this country as long as it goes down like this... The gun loving redneck hillbillies against the eco-green loving, peace nuts.

It will be a very short, very brutal war but we will be better off for it.

Texas tried to succeed from the union after the 04 election....should have taken that as a sign

Almost every election this crap happens, pointless waste of time
