Starting problem on the heep - may need help

Long since gone.
Went to start the jeep today and nothing happened. No lights, no sound, no nothing. Battery is good, but something is amiss.

May need help on this one....

I'm going to look at it again in the morning and I'll see what I can figure out. It just "seems" different than the usual problems (cps, starter, short etc). I have some thoughts on what it might be, but when I was under the hood it looked odd. I'll take a photo in the morning.

:roflmao:I think I know what it is.

You'll be better off when it starts again!:guitar:

You sure about the battery? You may want to have someone who knows about batteries check that puppy. :D

I'm gonna go out on a limb here... missing an engine?

try starting it and wiggling the shifter back and forth in park. could be your NSS.

I'm thinkin' that with the clues given....and the fact that Grant has 'displacement envy'....it is not the NSS.

:D

if mine doesnt sit in exactly the right spot, i get the exact same symptoms. turning the key and slowly pushing the shifter back and forth, you can find the sweet spot to start him.

I think What rick was saying is....He has no motor in there right now, he's getting a stroker put in(or doing it himself)

Yeah, no sweet spot in the shifter. I fumbled with it a bit and nothing happened. I think something fell out of the bottom because it didn't feel like the shifter was hooked up to anything at all.

I think I have to head to Huntington Beach today for something... I forgot what, though. ;)

I've changed my tune on Obama, stock markets and economies be damned, so this is what I'm putting in the big empty space in my jeep to show support.

Hey that spy photo looks familiar... Oh by the way I just filled the oil and primed the pump.. It is ALL Ready to fill your Hole in the Jeep now...:gee:

Right on. The higher source and I are leaving to do errands and then the mutts down to dog beach. I'll push your buttons that make your bells ring within an our or two of us being down your way.

Thanks for filling my hole, big boy. ;)
