start up

when i start my truck the engine turns over fine, it has even compresion. but the engine turns over for about 5 seconds until she fires up. I just put a much needed fuel filter on it with no results. if i shut it off it will do it again, if i restart it immedietly it might do it in 3 or 4 seconds. Im thinking mysbe fuel pressure regulator?? but honestly i dont want to replace the whole fuel system just to find that its something much easier. any thing you could offer whill be tried.

Hey try putting in a crankcase postioning sensor, your jeep will run better
