spring rate long arm xj

I will get some measurements from the bottom of the body to center of bolt, Wes (my brother-in-law) had Iribe from King modify his stock bracket for the RE track bar so I'm sure its close to there's. I used that one to make this one for him, the main difference is that its pushed forward a little for clearance from the axle, well and its all about the bling factor lol.

Awesome that'd be great. I'm looking to drop mine down a HAIR more than the RE brace is right now, as well as move it forward 2" or so. Let me know! I might have you make two :D

Nice bracket. Not legal for JS competition though until they become an "approved" vendor.

Does that apply to track bar brackets as well? I would think because it's a safety hazard beefing these up would be legal. Isn't steering in this same category?

4.1.3.10 Original type steering box must be used but may be modified. Box must be mounted in stock location using the stock three mounting holes, however the mounting area may be strengthened by adding material. Steering quickener
box may be added, and steering shaft modified or replaced as necessary. Steering components (tie rods, tie rod ends, pitman arm, track bars etc.) are open. The steering system must remain stock concept OF tie rod and drag link (i.e no remote steering, bell cranks, etc). Power steering pump and reservoir is open, and flu id coolers and filters may be installed. I.F.S. models must use=2 0stock rack and pinion steering.

That is interesting because a team is fighting right now because their suspension is not from an approved company, and on the list of things to get replaced is their track bar bracket. But come to think of it, a couple guys have totally custom fabbed mounts. Hmmm, gotta look into that a little more. The rule does specifically say "track bar" and does not mention the bracket, and we are always fighting that rule that says if the rules don't say that it can be modified, then it cannot. Seems this bracket falls into a gray area.

Rule 4.1.3.8 - A stock concept panhard (or trac) bar system must be used. Panhard bars and brackets are open. Aftermarket or stock brackets may be strengthened by adding material.

This was changed back in 2005 and my old car worked within this rule and I passed tech every time.

So this bracket would be Jeepspeed legal.
