How tight is the seal where the two halves meet at the filter? Hate to get water sucked through that
I don't like the rigidity of the mount. Enough torque and vibes and the halves will wiggle apart.
Are they going to replace the welded sections with bent tubing at some point?
I do like their mounting plate at the firewall.
I think that is what the "Hump" boot is all about. Not a concern of Mine, I run JeeperJohn Fabwerkz Motor Mounts.
If You do not tighten the T-Bolt Clamp enough, it could wiggle loose. I tightened Mine.
Looks like the filter area is small, too. So it's a choice between effectiveness and flow.
The stock airbox and air filter (flows 370cfm @ 1.5inHg)
I have been running it since March. No complaints.
I'm almost convinced to pull the trigger on one of these.
Yeah, $300 is a hard pill to swallow but it is a very nice unit and comes with the magic sticker.Me too for the simple fact of getting a carb#. I know its only once every 2 years but it still sucks having to swap back to renix stuff just to pass visual for smog.
Doesn't look like the same one.Right now is a good time to buy one... the kits are $199 and summit racing has free shipping in the U.S. and to boot... there is a $50 rebate from Spectre Performance.
