Some Hawaii wheeling pics

Several airlines are showing a $325 rt fare from LAX to HNL, so a charter with a cheap hotel could be $299. Usually timeshare solicitations don't include airfare.

My buddy that's using our Maui timeshare this year actually found a better deal on a hotel/air package than he was able to find for just air.

February to the beginning of March is the end of the rainy season there, so the weather can be hit or miss depending on where you are, on which island. Later March is usually better, and the airfares increase accordingly.

Here's a few more scenic pics...

These are beautiful but if I ever get to go there I'll hit up Pearl first.

So I take it Maui Jeeps only rents on Maui?

We did that on our honeymoon in '90. The USS Arizona Memorial is something every American should see :patriot:

So I take it Maui Jeeps only rents on Maui?

I haven't been able to find anything similar on any of the other islands. About 10 or more years ago the Maui outfit tried branching out to some other islands but it didn't work out.

Hmmm, maybe that would be a way to make the moving to Hawaii thing work?
Buy an assortment of beater jeeps, make them dependable, and rent them out.

I'd probably have to make prospective renters pass an off-road IQ test first though. Otherwise you'd have tards like the ones that buried the hummer on the Powerline Trail...

No John you're not using your business smarts here.

Rent to anybody who your insurance will allow (18+ or 25+).

Create your own sister business. Buy an M35 wrecker truck, "Unlimited Recovery." Profit off your own dumbass customers.

Glad to hear you hit it up. Hummer burried? surely not. Was that here or over there?

According to one of our Kauai tour guides, some yahoo tourists rented a Hummer, and promptly buried it in a huge mud hole about 1/2 mile in on the 11 mile Powerline Trail.

We drove in a little way, until we came to some huge mud holes that looked like they could swallow anything. It looked like it would be better for dirt bikes or mountain bikes, or hiking.

There's supposedly a couple pics from it here, but it looks like that first one is another trail, that we've been on.
