SoCal shop recommendations?

Okay, this might be me misunderstanding, but are you saying that I run the SYE with the standard driveshaft for a few days, or run FWD with the SYE in place until the new shaft comes in? Again, newbie to this so sorry if it's something simple I'm not grasping.
you'd be in front wheel drive with SYE since you cannot use the stock shaft with it.

Question: what would be the downside of not going with a custom-measured driveshaft? It looks like the AA/TW combo includes a generic-length shaft with a fair bit of slip; would it be a false economy to go this route in the long run?
You want to get the right length to have it last you longest. If yo ukind og guess it might end up being to short, too long or somewhat right now but you might quickly outggrow it.

Cool. This is what I thought would happen, but it's good to have it confirmed.

Makes sense.

I stand corrected on the TW premium shafts. I attribute that to the first and last time I spoke to them on the phone. they quoted me the standard shafts which was the same price as a premium shaft from six states.

If this is going to happen in Westminister I may be able to assist. It'll depend on whether or not I'll have my six year old. Hard to wrench and parent simultaneously.

Thanks, much appreciated. I'm still trying to put all this together while working a 16-hour day at the moment (which should hopefully stop next week). I still owe people phone calls about all this; I haven't forgotten anyone, I just really haven't had a chance to get to taking care of all this yet.
