Just bid my vacation time at work...and got that week off. So it is a distinct possibility. Checking out some motel rooms...might as well be comfortable.

motel rooms??? Man... call and see if they got cabins available :D All the fun is at the campground.

I've already got my cabin at Slickrock campground. They still had a few left that week as of yesterday. I just got home about an hour ago I wonder how it would go over at work if I just went back. The Intermoutain Chapter run was a Blast!!!!!!!!

Just found out, my father's day present will be to let me go to the Fling.

Anybody with a cabin or other arrangement wanna go halvsies with me? Or let me squeeze in somewhere, even if it's on the floor? I'm not totally useless, as I will have my full set of tools, welder, cutting torch, etc.

Otherwise, I can just stay in my tent.

depends on if i'm back stateside or not, whether i'm clearing or not, stuck in germany or not.......otherwise I'M THERE!!! umm....BTW....anybody got a vehicle i can ride in? and a place to crash? i promise i'm housebroken.....hell after a year in iraq i think i can tough out moab for a week;) just let me remember to bring my GOOD sleeping bag:D

Force............ :laugh2:

...........If the XJ is still holding together, it would make for a great 'last' voyage.
Marc,
Are you moving to Siberia or are you just bidding farewell to the XJ scene? Last time we wheeled, it seemed like your XJ was running fine except, of course, that whole four-wheels-off-the-ground trick in the rock Garden. I'll be there for the Fling, maybe even leading a trail as that responsibility will be given to the IC.

XJ is dieing a slow death. Building a YJ to replace it.

Doing "four-wheels-off-the-ground tricks in the rock garden" will do that.

I'll be there if I got any $$$ left after "MHJC All-4-Fun" week in Georgtown (7-31/8-6) and "NAXJA XJFest'04" (8-7/8-14) and the heep is still in one piece. I only been to Moab once and I had a blast, even tho' it was just me and my daughter. I think doing a group thing will be much more fun.

If everything works out.......redeployment to the states and all the debriefings. This trip sounds really awsome.

:( :( :( If I don't get my XJ fixed (doubtfull) or a new xj going (ummmm big maybe) I won't be able to make it....... I'm really pissed cause I was looking forward to this!

I'll be there with alot more fun things attached to the rig. Hope all the out of state rigs can make it out, would like to see a strong showing like the 20 year event.

I'll be arriving in Moab on Sunday, the 3rd. But I'll be with my mountain biking buddies. So I'll be doing more biking than jeeping. I'm hoping to do at least a couple of trails with you guys, maybe on Tuesday and/or Wednesday. 'Cause I''ll be leaving on Thursday to get to Vegas for the Interbike trade show.

It's hard having two expensive hobbies.

 Wouldn't miss it party1: Also have a couple of freinds with TJ's who are just getting into the wheeling thing - I'ld lke to bring them along if no one has any heartburn about it (I told them how cool you guys are about this kinda thing) party1: Last year was my first year! I was impressed beond words :worship: Signed up with the IC as soon as it was formed, & have been talking to everyone I run into (XJ or not) about how cool it is to be in a group of like minded individuals :kissyou: We're going to try to make the whole week! We'll see how it goes :D

I'm still on for the whole week.
Got a cabin.

Backdraft, Jeepin_Rebel, and I will be heading out Monday morning and caravanning into Moab Monday afternoon/evening. We will be leaving for home Sunday morning.

If anyone along the I-40 route wants to join in on the caravan, let me know where you're at and I'll tell you what time we'll be driving through your location. Everyone's welcome.

If you can't take a Jeep but can go and at least ride along all week, you can jump in with one of us to get to Moab.

I'll have the mig, torch, etc., so if you are limited on room, you can leave 'em at home.
