Here's the next investment - tired of the spare in the back and I just don't feel right with it "up top".

Tire Carrier:

Hi-lift mount:

I'm also looking at stuff (armor) for the front and found some nice diff covers.

Rework the front bumper to fit upright 8000,
Dakota springs for the rear
Maybe some work on rub rails.
For now just WHEEL IT :)
Check out my rubber boats for floating the Yakima river.

Restomod on 89 Limited for my wife.

Bore +.030 and stroke with Blue Racer WG5121 cam (should be good for up around 325 pound-feet around 2kRPM,) regear with 4.10s, F-body steering box (she's usually on-road, and I want to make her rig a little quicker for "Evasive Action" on California freeways) and probably a rear disc conversion - as well as a few other things I haven't though of yet...

Then a restomod on my 88 Laredo with an "Airplane" theme - light aircraft instruments and such, probably 4.56's, and a heavy bore/stroke job, D44's, and a few other things there...

Then a refit of my 89 base model to make it a "Cross-Country Travel Rig."

Think my plate's full? Someone get me an MJ - I really need a pickup truck!

regear to 4.56 and add one possibly two TADs. That is my plan for the winter.

Rework the Rockrails to extend out and protect the body more

Fab up bumpers

Fix what breaks wheeling

Replace headliner (it hasn't hit my head just yet!)

Traction
Aid
Device

IE: Lockers , LSDs spools, things of that nature.

My Rear bumper that I keep putting off!! I think I have had the steel in the garage for it for at least 2 years now.

I have the detroit for the rear sitting on the bench waiting to go in.

Those are the two biggies at the moment (the small stuff is a very long list). I promised myself I would not order the SYE or the front Lock Right or the tube bender till both of those were done. Then I can go nuts bending tube!!

My next/current project is not a Jeep :D Gotta get the Scout 2's I was talking about running. As of today, I got the new engine/tranny/transfer case in, when I get one u-bolt the front axle swap will be complete and then I gotta swap out the rear axle and the drivetrain will be finished. Then I gotta put the body back together, lots of sandblasting and some bondo later paint and I'll be done somehow :D

Yep, Yep, Yep!!

I did replace the cable (originally I thought this might be the culprit but apparantly it wasn't, it needed to be replaced anyway).

Now I need to replace the ant and CB unit one at a time to see what it is that is degrading the output.

But having said all that, it still comes on the VERY long list of small items to work thought.

The bumper and Detroit are still the big issues I need to get going on.
