So what did everyone do for the holiday weekend?

Went to the Rubicon. Had a great time, no major breakages on the xj just bashed in my front end a little sliding down a snow drift into a rock.

It was maybe 1am and i was trying to bybass thousand dollar hill when i found the snow drift. I later found out thousand dollar hill was much easier and the xj walked right up it with the open front end while the two fully locked and built yotas in front of me had to make multiple attempts, felt good.

bottom of thousand dollar hill still has snow on it which made it interesting before the climb. This blazer was in our group.

guy in a 4runner went through the box twice with a strap for a spring plate before he busted a tcase input shaft.

Didn't really get too many exciting pics as my co-pilot sucked at taking pics and iphone died early in the trip.

I did a few swan dives off the cliffs at spider lake, water felt good, way warmer than buck.

Great pics. I spent most of the weekend under my Jeep getting ready for the next three or four trips.

i welded up a set of beadlocks for the weirdo & dissembled the d60 from the front of my heep & cut off all of the old mounts to prep for a new truss & 3 link build.

I watched Tim make weld-up and grind-down a set of beadlocks in the 100-degree heat. I also bought him Taco Bell. The beadlocks are gonna look sweet when I flex out over the speedbumps. The chicks are going to take me seriously now.

I drove 150ish miles chasing the sunrise to get to work, repaired two machines, then drove back another 120 miles to go to the lake my friends and I normally party at every summer, stayed for a few hrs with them, then drove back the 120 miles, grabbed the Jeep and went to pismo beach to wheel a bit, then stayed for the fireworks..
That was my forth. Haha.
