Awwh man, I traded for the rack...The bug was free.

I can do the body and paint and all the mechanicals, but my Jeep keeps me broke. So the resto will be on the slow side, I may make it a rolling resto when I get far along enough.

In this pic You can see the surface damage on the nose. What You can't see it the bondo that filled the old dents from long ago.

In this pic, I have worked the metal into the more recognizable Bug shape. All the bondo is gone, but the red arrows show where the metal needs welding to fix the cracks from moving the metal back to its original position.
