I've wheeled Johnson valley, Azusa canyon, Cleavland national forest, Fiesta Island (got an illegal offroading ticket there) Gorman, Pismo beach, Glamis, etc. It's just TH is so close, 30 minutes. It would be like living next to the beach and not going.

There is a place on indio blvd, just west of where 111 meets it. They sell new and used tires. They just threw up some new paint on the build, I think red/yellow/orange/brown can't miss it looks UGLY! Ghetto shop but they are pretty nice, at least the one guy who speaks English, I would check with them, they only charged me 10.00 to switch my spare around and they told me they would beat anyone's prices.
