we're back home.It ended being just Cyndee and i running around to all the mines.We found one but the flash light was almost dead, so we will be going back there soon.
Now i start on tearing mine down and seeing if i can get the arms mounted.

Got the hard side done today.

I even welded it on the uni frame rail.Yea i know, my jeep doesn't have a frame.What PITA when you have nothing to go by or look at.Now i'll finish the otherside and then cut the old crap off, hope it stays on.:sure:

tell me about it... i'm not looking forward to doing mine (front and rear).
sucks, i gotta make new brackets for the shortened trans crossmember so i can weld on the front radius arm brackets. i just picked up all the steel today, hoping to start on it sometime this week if the rain holds up.

I actually worked on mine last weekend... found a few loose nuts... fixed a broken shock...

Hey rats,
My mom wants to get her windsheild(clear tint) and side windows (reg tint) tinted on her car. Can anyone reccomend a good professional tint place in the low desert?

i called some guy on craigslist and had him do my whole jeep in limo black for $120. If you go that route, just ask what kind of film they use and google it to make sure its good.

EDIT: also had my wife's Camry done in regular tint for $100

Thanks captain, I will keep that in mind for getting my DD retinted. In this situation I am looking for a reccomendation to a brick and mortar shop that uses quality products, and will stand behind their work.

Did a test drive today.My axle is a 1/4" off from being centered.Not bad i must say.I do have a problem thoug, It is sitting higher in front than the rear.

I... I... I really don't have a tint guy... I never neeeeded it done.. I did my shell YEARRRRRS ago it was flat and easy...
I'll try to check around work & see if I can come up with someone in the next day or two I'll holler if I locate someone...
