I just got some great news.My mother inlaw is coming to stay with us for a week, yep a week.So as of SEPT 2 thru the 11th we'll have her here.So we can't go anywhere during this time.(offroading)So i guess if anybody wants to come by an work on there junk let me know, I'll be here.:bawl:. Guess this makes me finish the stuff i need to get done on mine for the coming season out here.Maybe i can get the back done the way i see it in my head.:roflmao:

I am also removing the switch and gauge for the air setup i have.It will be in back with the tank. I'll have a power only switch up in front to control it.I am also installing a power setup in back with relays and fueses.

This should be ready in a couple of weeks if i can weld up all the metal and get every thing mounted by myself during the week.
I also found that BOTH seats have broken mounts on them now so i'll repair them too.
 
You should pull the dash and swap your heater core while you have the room to work on it.

PS. Starting my long journey home now, should be home about midnight.
 
Signed up at COD yesterday for the police academy... Time to get busy and get a real job! Dentist appt tomorrow and border patrol test next month, it's about to get real!
 
I think i need somebody to help me with my welder.I need to adjust the wire feed better and i just can't get it right, i don't know.If i can get somebody that knows how to setup the feed i sure would be happy if you could come by. I got water and soda for you, thats all i got at this time.

Hell NO !!! I cut my way into it with a Dremil... kept dropping bulbs into some void between the engine compartment & the headlight bucket... AND in the turn signal void... GEEEEZ !! thank heavens for some 1/2" hose & the shop vac.

Yea it has to much TUBE in it.if the body is that weak i would start over too. So ALL you guys got done was the front seats? HEY ROBERT, WTF dude. I did more than you did when i went over to help you out cause you had to go home.LOL.

By the way jeff when are you going to need the inside door handel for the door on the KOH rig? I got it here for ROBERT but i keep forgetting to give it to him.Yea i'm old.

I may be too exhausted to be any fun, but I'm driving up to Palm Desert this Sat a.m. for work (in my Mitsu, not my Jeep), probably working til 5.

I'm getting put up in a Hotel/Motel/Holiday Inn somewhere, and working again Sunday a.m. (likely starting at 6am).

It'd be great to meet you Saturday night (8/27) for dinner, or a soda/beer, or night wheeling, or...? I will have a car, so I'm mobile.

So what can we do to make her happy when she comes out here?I'm thinking we could take her to the Gentlemens club.:wow:. Wait till she gets here and she how she feels about it being 115 out and watch her melt:gag:

"They was in" a rental Charger I believe is what the news said... stuck...

That's where I got stranded one night a few years ago... luckily I had a buddy with me... I left the XJ in the middle of the road on the jack... got back to it about 0200 hrs. it had fallen off... got it on the trailer & home about 0400.
I won't be picking up any transparent european hitch hickers out there...
