So Cal desert rats

Ya then I am going to have to rear gear, and while I am in there I will have to put lockers in and then....and then.... I am really trying hard to be ok with 31's for awhile and working on beefing up the rest of the truck.
 
Hey guys my sister told me that she went to buffalo wild wings out there between Indio and palmsprings right by the Westfield mall a few days ago maybe 4. She said she saw a pretty big jeep meet out there, do you guys know about that?

Didn't even know we had one out here.Long drive for you just to do a meet and greet isn't it? I mean in this heat our jeeps don't like it to much..I know this month i'm booked every weekend, so maybe next month:dunno:.We can try too.

My sister lives off Monroe so I'll hang out there for a few days, couldn't we do it during a Friday or even a week day?

Yea a 3"-4" lift some 31s... should be doable... well it was for Aaron & Tone !!

Probably not going to stress Jeff... NOW !!! Mottino would be Jeff fun...

Local Jeep Club blazed it a few years back... not friendly for me... Cyndee... BOTH Aarons... B Rad... I don't know MAYBE if I had better protection... Aaron if he had a taller tire... ?? I truly don't know...

I've got some stuff going most weekend days and a few weekdays, but might be up for a M&G... probably pass on the wheeling for now... I might be persuaded... on the meet & greet.

Works for me. July 23 is the only date i have any plans on as you know.The rest of the month is played by ear. At this time i only got the one jeep up and running so i'm good to go.
If you come out in your jeep we can maybe do a night run out here to if it isn't to HOT .:scared:.I think we can get a couple of folks together for one.We can do Berdoo Canyon or something.Maybe they can post up about it, i have A/C in the wifes jeep so i'm good to go at night.LOL

I'm up for a night run, my jeeps A/C is working perfectly since I just retrofitted and replaced the whole system last week and love it now! We usually go shooting off of dillian road, you go down avenue 44 and left on dillian road then go down about 3-4 miles and go into the mountains, does anyone wheel out there?
 
Yea thats around berdoo canyon area.Some of that is ok to play in and some isn't.
It sounds like everybody can make the AUG month better than a july. So if you want to make it out in AUG we can see how many we can get to show up to it.

The Big Bear trip is going to be just the capt and i from the sounds of things, like i said i don't know BB that good so i can't give you a meeting place or anything.If you want to meet us in PS that morning on HWY 62 we can do that.But this would make 1 heck of a long day for you.
 
One of these days I'm a gonna bust in on a meet n greet, I see you guys are a little norht of me, but have XJ, will travel. I just got out of a toyota 4 months ago and got me a Jeep, been buildin and buyin, hopin to have a good season and break a few things, dammit.
 
I guess I'm sayin I'd like to wheel w/ some other XJ dudes, my bro's got a YJ and we stick pretty thick together, but we're lookin to expand our knowledge at the off road college y'all attend.

Escondido, and I'm old too, and I have some dents in the XJ and me as well, seems like I'll fit right in if you guys are a bit whacko. we're goin to BB July 30th for the weekend, we took a WJ up there last month and the guy couldn't get up Gold Mountain, bashed the hell out of his rig, so we;re goin w/ out him. So, to really answer your question, maybe an hour, hour n 15 south of you, but don't worry, I sleep in late and drive fast, haha
