So Cal desert rats

Finally got time to work on the jeep, cooling system is now working properly... Hopefully that also solves the transmission overheating problem too. I even get to use my AC now!

Ready for tomorrow... we will be there by 7:30.

I'll do my best to be there before 8pm but I get off at 7 in thermal, hoping I don't get a late call and I am picking up a couple of buddies that want to come play!

No problem, i'll give you a call in the AM when i get my phone charged ok.I think we got a monster brewing with you and offroading.LOL.But it is a good thing.

Glad you got it all done, i'm still working on my junk.:wow: I can't get my tie rod straight, guess i'll install it an use my floor jack and a strap to bend it back down about 3".. REDNECKING at it's best as curt would say about me.LOL..I need to get the TRE's for the OTK setup i got from grandrunner. Then get it installed.
See you all saturday night at MY PLACE..

What kind?

HMMMM
BIG. LOL. I think it is a chevy setup.Right now i'm going to bend mine back to being close and then after this weekend i'm going to park mine for the summer. I got to get mine drilled for the OTK setup and buy parts for it. Plus i need to fix some other stuff i have bent or broke during the winter.T-case cross member is bent about 2" up and with a 1" drop in it, I don't see it working to good.Driveline is bowed a little if there is such a thing as a little with one.LOL
But i had a GREAT time doing all this over the season.

I'm still 50/50...
Went Jeff's this eve. got my new ball joints installed... much nicer.

Thanks Jeff !!

Curt

Now thats the hard part, the drill bit isn't cheap so i have to wait for max to come out or for me to go to him on a weekend to do this.

I've got a bunch here, not sure what size You need. Can You give Me a measurement?

Cool, now You need a three core, a slow speed W. pump & some water wetter. :gee:
I ran to Home Depot and back yesterday for some new sealing washers for the diff covers. 190* is what it ran.

Paul it has to be a degree bit or i got to buy the inserts. Then it would have to be a 7/8 drill bit.I know max has the drill bit, I just need to get a date set with him, no biggie if i park mine, I got 2 jeeps.I may go the other way and not use TRE's. Still thinking

He needs a tapered bit Paul... to come in from the top... if & when I do it I'll just drill it for heims... relocate the T-bar mount & swaybar mount...
