It was eating up folks saturday.LOL. I guess it got chewed up a little. Max said it was bad this time, worst he has seen it.He is going up again in a couple of weeks.I have never seen the trail before, but it had some good size rocks and holes in it. I guess i slide off a my rail and onto a rock at the start, no biggie it was fun to hear it bang.LOL

Which way did you enter it? I think we came in from the gold mountain.John bull is the name of the trail but i guess we entered the gate keeper end.

Yeah, tone and I did gatekeeper last week, but we went from west to east. i think it was a bit easier that way.

Our Socalfest group did run it right behind you Scott, not too many problems...

Although there was this one huge boulder that i slid into :tear:

Basically... my flares are very strong. The fender & doorjamb... not so much!
 
Same spot.LOL. I had to ride on top when she slide off into it, but i blame the wife for it cause she didn't spot me.We know it isn't ever the driver right. Thats the only thing i did on our run so i'm happy. Max is just going to reweld his hangers back on then he is done, he cut and moved his rear axle back about 6" a couple of years ago.

Lol! I wanna see pics of the spot this happened at cause I need a matching dent on my pass side to match the driver side.. :D
 
Tone only the cool guys got this dent and the lame ducks got the otherside, right CAPT. But hey i plan on going up again in a couple of months, so keep your eyes open for it.We went thru some trails going up to BB that max knew, but we want to run sidewinder next time we go up. All these trails are new to me so i don't know the names of them. Heart break ridge was one we did i think.Gold mount,JB and some other ones. Hell, like i said i don't know them he does. He starts at Cleghorn and goes from there to BB with his crew.

Those are easy, hell i can even do them. I heard tone can almost do them by himself.

GOOD MORNING C V. Sure is nice to wake up with the F-ING wind blowing again.Mother nature is a bitch. I havent been able to get into the garage cause of the wind, so my jeep just sits there full of dirt from BB. She isn't happy about that let me tell you. Got to air the wifes jeep up today, she has a flat. Need to get them to pop the bead and clean the rocks out.
 
Yeah it was fairly easy... But the previous owner jerry rigged one of the transmission lines, so I had to fix it.

LOL. I have seen a couple of them done that way.Glad you got her done.Now does it run cooler, not like it is hot here at this point in time.

I want the heat to start up, i hate this COLD wind.
 
yeah running cooler so far... need to find a good long hill to test it fully. Maybe i will drive it up to yucca valley or chiriaco summit.
 
Wait till it heats up here in a day or two.Then just come up 1000 palms to dillion and go towards indio(berdoo canyon) it is all up hill from ramon road. Doesn't look like much of a grade but it is a long and steady grade.
