Just got done with the garage.I changed out the cooler for a newer one, now i can adjust the air flow.I get air on the other side so at late afternoon i won't cook on the westside.Right now it was blowing COLD.

My 52" Samsung has been hanging on the wall for 6 months now non-functional. (out of warranty):( So I decided I had to try and fix it.

When I got the back off I found something that gives Me hope.:wow: Here is the power supply board.

You can see in this pic a couple Cap's have blown their tops.

So out the garage it goes, I'll order parts and get it done, think I'll replace them all. I Miss My TV :(

Yeah, well guess I can't do any worse.
My eye's are for shit, Scott. I should have got the 60". Next new TV is going to get the extended plan, sad thing is I have three other Samsungs. Well at least I'll know how to fix them too. :/
 
From what i have been reading the bigger ones go faster. Max doesn't watch that much tv and his went out about a year after he got it.Then it went out a couple more times till he just said screw it.We use our for PS3 and the WII games, great high def. The blu-ray movies are cool too..
We almost got the 3-D tv but i was looking at the price and said OH HELL NOOOOOOOOOO

I did a bunch of research on this last night. For this particular problem/make it is on the power supply board, just crappy cap's I think. The screen problems seem to be across the board, when it dies it dies. 50,000 hours is what most say. I don't believe it, from what I read last night. A lot of Fella's like Me on Geek sites, trying to come up with a fix. Nice thing is it's easy to get to things, and it works, for the most part like the old TV's.
The 3D is not for Me, I get bad headaches.
 
Capacitors = .71 cents for one, I need four. 4 days out.

Cheapest Power Supply I could find was a used one for $85.00. New was too much.
 
I was out working in the garage on the yota and i noticed it was a nice day outside, i could see the trees moving from the breeze. I was getting hungry so i put up my tools and walked outside and about died, OMG it is Fing out. It's 99 outside right now, WTF. Thank god i got the cooler done already, my garage is like 80.I'm so happy i could chit
