I havent found a front drivers side flair..I'll look again in the AM ok... I can't spend to much time on this cause i'm working on the toy trailer..I got to do some elec wiring for the gen so we got lights and stuff..Going to try to get a battery setup to, but this doesn't look like it will happen...

I need to chase all the wiring in this trailer..

Question, just out of curiosity:

88 XJ- 4.0L AW4 NP231

I thought the AW4 was a NP242? Scott, Curt, Mike, anyone?

I saw this on a sig, in the "Non-XJ thread".

I was asked by Staff (uplandhawaii) if I had a drivers side front. No smog checks there but they do have Vehicle equip. inspec. I read this morning one of the locals may have one, I'll dig it out if it goes there.

Hey Scott, sucks gettin old.

Aloha Paul, Scott. Thanks for checking for the flare, I scored some locally so I'm good. :peace:

Ryan has a 242 too that's why his rig is slooooow! I almost ran him over yesterday on a couple occasions.... Slow people to the right dude!!

It has been My experience (in a certain wash) that the slower traffic needs to stay to the left. :( I got My ass kicked on the left. lol:viking:

Ryan has a 242 too that's why his rig is slooooow! I almost ran him over yesterday when he parked his jeep after that corner in the mall parking lot....US slow people need to learn to stay to the right...:greensmok

:roflmao: i told him not to park his jeep there, i said you would be coming around the corner sooner or later..But he didn't listen to me:eyes:

Unless it's a 1993 GC with a I-6, it's not that. It must be ALL those aftermarket Parts weighing Ryan down. :gee:

From what I read the AW-4 auto trans is called something else in a 2wd, including Toyota's. It's the 242 that makes it F-4WD. I read about building a NP-231, a planetary out of a np242, a chain set up out of a NP231HD, and one of those doubler's like Bill has.
