My heater core is gone too, but today was a very nice day up there... went the whole way with the windows down my wife didn't even complain.

I just went to move my jeep, when i hit the key it died....I hit the bypass switch and still nothing..It won't jump start, it is dead..No lights, radio..I guess i blow the main fuse..So i think i'll get my GUN an put it out of it misery..I noticed today it would try an die but i just touched the pedal and she would catch and run..Amps where around 12.4 when i did the test last week on mine and the wifes..So i know the alt is/was working..
God i love my jeep.... Yea right

Trailer over haul!!!

That's all I got done today. Tomorrow I'm gonna start taking the roof/sides off/floor I just need to get a little square head screw driver for the screws... Roof is rotten and floor in the rear is rotten, this things getting over hauled!

They've got a couple O.K. pop-up builds...
I think the free price is cool, but don't expect too much in the way of "off-roading" with it.
In the 60s a few local club members bought some and proceeded to tear them apart after a few trips... yes they were HEAVILY beefed up, both box & suspension... hence the reason they were know for their G.I. trailers and not having the same camp each night.
The Indio Club... the Chuckwallas & the Hemet Club all built COOL ! G.I. trailers...

Hell if some of the stuff out E. of town wasn't closed I might be able to take you to the remnants of a couple...

I will give you $100 for some of the parts after you lose interest...

I don't think I'm gonna loose intrest on this one, I'm excited as can be and mad at the same time cause now I gotta divvy the jeep money into jeep/trailer money I'm gonna go buy the wood/metal this weekend, hey curt do you think I could borrow the welder for a day or two when I'm ready for it? I plan on beefing up the frame/extending it in the front so I can make a spot for the generator/compressor/storage box. Then I gotta source some leafs/axel/tires then start building it up. I wanna try to have it done before the season is over so I can use it at least once!

Tone I wouldn't trust my wire feed to do "frame" type work...

When I put the tongue on mine I did it at a friends place... I might be willing to help you get it better than tacked so you can get it to someone with skills & a better welder to do the final burn...

Try getting a few kids... a couple houses (mortgages) 2 JEEPS a truck a stalled trailer project... HELL you've seen my garage... that alone is a "project".

If you're going to tow... you'd better throw some $$$ at gears... period... that should be the first trailer mod.

PM me when you want me to get those parts off it...
