Now that, My Friend, is Awesome! Damn, now you really need to change the color. But to what? Safety Blue? Caution Yellow might look cool. :gee: A light bar is a must, I saw a caution bar for sale (broken) in the classifieds a while back.

I'm in hell (computer) right now. Not powering up. LED is illuminated on the Mobo, but not getting through Post. No fans, no whir of hard drives. Checked all jumpers, connections...Nothing wrong. Mobo, may be a MoFo.

Paul - any beeps from the mobo? odd that it would just power up and not do anything at all. maybe try to re-seat the ram and clean and remount the processor? you can clean all the old heat sinc compound off with a qtip and some rubbing alchohol

No speaker, no on board audio. It has a LED that lights up on the board, when you turn on the power supply. But when I push the button ***nothing***. No fans no whir of little hard disc's, NADA! I was looking at the mobo book, it shows a numbered list, that reads like the system panel connector (left to right) would hook your pwr switch, reset, hdd activity $hit from the chassis a paticular way. But if you look at the schematic, it is not laid out that way at all. I have tried both, still nada. Any other ideas? I am thinking about sacrificing a small animal to the MoBo Gods, before I have to pull ALL that $hit outathere.:shiver:

any of you rats going to make it out and show us city boys what its like to play in the sun next weekend? :D

I was thinking of poping in on saturday for awhile if i can get my HEEP going...Right now i am looking at the drive line to see if i bent it tearing off the ubolts on the one side.. I found the ubolts to hold the shaft in...I'll have those by sunday morning...

sure you have the right manual for the mobo? no activity means either the mobo is bad, the cpu is bad or not seated, or the power supply is not putting enough juice in it. :dunno: sorry hard to diagnose pc issues from behind the screen heh

Possibly the power supply, if the voltage is to low, it will not allow the system to boot.

I for about 10 seconds though about it... BUT y'all are too hard core for me & while it is higher in elevation it's still the hot ass desert... time to hibernate.

On a positive note... the XJ is rolling again... new bushings are in... I even treated him to a coin-op wash'n OOOH WEEE !!
