So Cal desert rats

Thanks Ryan, I may see if, when in the area, if You and Tone could drive by. I am still trying to work this out. I may be going by myself.

I was just looking at JCR's add, 12 days min to fab some sliders. Are they panning the steel out of a stream? Smelting it on site? Rolling the tube there? :dunno:
Then 12 hours to fab them and powder coat? What?

Paul, look at my rails, there bent right? Look at cyndee's rails...This is why you wait...He is a little 2 man shop that can't find GOOD up...There welds need only a little grinding to clean them up if that...MY AJ'S took me 2 days to clean the welds...I gave up after 2 days an painted them....SO if you want them right, what would you do? There bumpers, what can i say? You have heard and seen what i do to them

Money is the second worry, and I can handle that. I may have to rent a car.:(

With a bender, plasma cutter, notcher, drill, grinder & welder, I could make you some just as nice. In less time. I think he need more help. :dunno:

Man, i swear you don't work for a couple of years and you go dumb...Now think back when you were building in Palm Springs..HMMMMM, oh yea these guy where ( )

Do you see where i am going here..Wait i got more, YOUR bumper guy did a ( ) job.
It is hard to get great help and when you build a great product it takes time..Lets see you put out 50 bumpers and 50 sets of rails in a day...Not being a smart ass, but think about it..Plus he also does armor for XJ's..I think he also builds for other type of trucks..You want it fast for yourself, it is easy...It would take you 5 to 7 days..I know you...Just think you got them made in 5 days, at the cost of 5 to 8 grand..Thats a great deal...LOL...Get out of the box and turn around an look....
GOD I AM BORED...LMFAO... Go ahead say somthing...LOL...

It's RARE to get good help & even rarer to get GREAT help...
5 to 7 days... is a blink of an eye... mine are into their 4th. year of their build... :roflmao: 5 to 8 grand... CHUMP CHANGE !! I got that in wasted design thought time...
Good stout nice looking rails can be done in a weekend... just not mine :D
I think two guys working TOGETHER... can make it a weekend project... take their time & build a nice set...
My problem is time & ambition... actually the lack of both.

Ma is out doing laundry (remember the washer & dryer burned up) or I would come by. On a happier note, the leaks are gone and the ARB works.

Now, should we start with my LIFT..People know all about how crappy it is...LOL.. The only way not to wait for your bumper is to go to 4 wheel parts or pep boys..They have that crap on the wall they sell..Cash and carry..OH wait, you drive a XJ...
