So Cal desert rats

So it sounds like one of those, do what you like things. Everyone has a different idea. Ill probably just go on the cheap since money is tight and even if they do wear down again, the stock ones have lasted 14 years now, so heck if I get another 14 years out of the next ones ill be happy....14 years from now what will my xj look like, that sounds like a fun thread topic! :D

Aaron I just install a set of energy suspension inserts (poly). You remove the old rubber from your old mounts and replace them with the poly inserts. It's a little work but seems to work OK. You need a good vice to install them. I have one trip on them at TH. I will be back in town at the end of next week if you would to come and look at them. They are about $50.

One plus with a more solid mount is when You off road, and You loose traction and then hook up it keeps the torque from moving the engine and trans/t-case so much.

I'll be home this afternoon if You want to see and feel the complete mount swap.

My Nephew just got done with his new Jeep. He works for Teraflex

Hey Curt, saw a Friend of Yours today. Going south on dune palms coming up on 48th (?) to make my right and saw a bright red Jeep on the other side of the road. Once I got closer I saw it had Bradley Electric on the door. There was no construction around there, He was out of the Jeep standing around. I thought He was broke down. So I made my right and got back there as quick as I could. When I got back, there was a Bradley elect. work truck parked behind Him, He took off and so did the other Guy. By the time I got the left arrow He had gone up made a U and had made it back to the light. I waved and so did He, not sure if He knew who I was. So when You see Him let Him know I was there to help and not after His rims & tires. (lol) Sure has a nice Jeep.
