Buthead. Guess i'll lookin the yard..

Well CHIT, the wife said she thinks there is one on the parts jeep. Come and take a look to see if you would want to buy it.I'm easy, not cheap.I think the last i sold was 25 bucks

Aaron,
I've put my stock skids thru hell (ask folks that've gone and played with me...), and they're usually pretty damn cheap & a surprising amount of help.

My t-case skid sacrificed itself for my t-case, and my current front skid is bowed up in the middle & bulged out on the sides from helping protect my oil pan & a hit that would've destroyed my front diff (still ended up with a 1/4" deep dent in the diff cover).

My gas tank skid (careful, there are 2 different generations on these, for metal or plastic gas tanks) and stock rear hitch have saved my Jeep's ass countless times, too.

Also... ROCKRAILS. Something. Anything. There are folks on here that fab them, or you can buy new commercial ones in the $250 range. Worth 10x their weight in gold.
Your doors will continue to open/close after you've been out playing.
You can pivot off them rather than off sheet metal.
If you get the ones that stick out:
You can use them as tug points in a pinch.
Or have folks stand on them to tilt you over a high-center spot.
Or have them stand on them to get a wheel back on the ground.
Or to tie down your Xmas tree if you don't have a roof rack to bring it home on...

And tow points... I'm running Custom4x4Fabrication's ones that bolt up to the stock bumper mounts, and they're solid. I think they were $75 a couple years ago.

And don't wheel alone. The yay-hoos in this group will help watch your back and your front (and your wife, probably...).

Welcome aboard!

I know you've watched my rear end... but then, I've watched yours, too. We like to switch places (on the trail), right?

And puhlease... since when was I a "Lady"? More like a wench...

You have always been a lady around me, so i can't say anything bad only good about you.

Awwwww :loveu:

But there isn't much bad about me being a wench, either!!

Hey, you'd be surprised what I'll give you for $20 or so...!

Don't have any freebies, unfortunately.

Also found it doesn't have any oil in it:mad:.Thats right, i put 2 quarts in a it still doesn't show on the stick.:passgas:Guess i'll do a oil change before i give it back to the son inlaw.
