So Cal desert rats

no sweat... just trying to get them on before the weekend, im going to make an attempt at it right now... wish me luck.

Shouldn't be that hard to do solo, I did mine with my hi-lift and some jack stands... I'm at work for the next week so I'm no help... Take pics and let us know how it turns out! Pauls rebuilding a head for Scott so he's probably tied up too...

Aaron I'd like to help, but I'm booked up all weekend and somewhat behind the 8 ball myself...
Let us know your progress...

I fronted You those extended brake lines, and installed them for nothing, with the understanding that You would pay Me for them when You had the money.
Then You go out and buy sliders, and want help installing them. WTF. Reality check, You Owe Me Money.

Hey Scott, started the porting on this head. The valve size reminds Me of the old chevy 202 heads, like in the Vet & Camaro. Big assed intake valve (more than half of the compression chamber) and a nice sized exhaust. But it looks like the exhaust port was redesigned to choke the smog out of it. A "D" shape. It is now more the shape of the inner part of the port, More oval. I will polish those. The intakes are pretty big already, I'll smooth them, but leave furrows so it will tumble. Get it to breathe and cut the head for a little more compression, should run. I am (when I get more sanding stuff for the dremel) also going to reshape and polish the compression chambers. Haven't done this since the Porsche.:chef:

LOL..So what do you plan on putting this thing on? Hell if we put it on mine it is going to blow the bottomend out of it....I just tuned the wifes jeep up, HOLY chit...I looped it on my street before i got to the corner..Her jeep had them split bosch plugs in it, man those are trash..Now i need to check on taking it from her:eyes:

hey be careful, i heard they call him Ice Pick Paulie....

LMAO! Yeah but it's spelt with a "Y".:roflmao:

Scott, a used renix can't be too hard to find. This head was repaired, lots of them with cracked heads. We just need to find one. Get a cam for christmas and Your ready (ask for cam bearings too). :) I heard these will bolt to an HO block, need to look into this. Could not get a PS hose, spraying worse now, so no go today. Working on the Tow vehicle, took off the bumper tits, moved the driving lights inside the grill, and cut 9 holes in the sheetmetal so far to feed the future air intake on either side. Still on dial up, no pics.

Had a great time today..Broke and beat the crap out of my jeep..LOL...Max broke too..Great time..

Plus i broke my seat belt..Yea thats was fun right there..Got the one out of the parts jeep..Got lucky..
