So Cal desert rats

The only jeep running is mine, with the rotted out A-PILLAR..I am still working on the wifes jeep, i got a battery for it..I need to wash it and clean the windows..I had her windows down about 2" and the sand storm made a mess..So i need to get that cleaned up too..

Don't know if You all remember this, We were out at Truckhaven, and We went on a run.
I was bringing up the rear of our group, and had the unfortunate task of following a JK. This think could get hooked up on a quarter.
He refused to learn from the previous "Post Turtle" events. So He did it over and over again. Pic:

I got bored today..Yea i know better, but it was fun..Got some more room now in the shop..I hear i have 5 brake jobs coming up here in the next 3 weeks..I plan on removing all the drywall by thursday..Then i get to start on the roof..Here you go..

I got my side by side with ice maker going in by friday..With water working by then..
Need to get some drywall next week and get it covered after we get the roof done..

Hey Paul, thanks for the PM... Yeah, i would be interested in meeting some desert area XJ people and finding out what trips you are planning. My jeep isnt quite reliable enough for the trails yet, but its getting close (see my post about help needed).

I replied here so i could say hello to the rest of the "Desert Rats", so.. Hello everyone!

About how many members live in the desert? how often do you guys meet up? What's the age range (i'm 38 but still young at heart)?

Welcome to the RAT race..:repair:.. This weekend we have a wrench party going on if you would like to join..It is a short drive (1.5 hours) away..I think it is all naxja folks going..Rick(his house) is a good guy, just not that sharp..LOL..
 
1.5 hrs for You, about 40 minutes from here. Well You won't be the youngest, but Your certainly not the Oldest. I've got about 14 orbits of the sun on You, And Scott, well We celebrate his Birthday in dog years, saves Us buying a Fire Permit.
There is a few of Us around here, and other Groups that We wheel with. During the winter I'm sure there will be plenty of chances for You to wheel.

11 !! Lunch is from 11 to 1300 !!! Considering I'm about 24 hrs. behind in my weekly duties I don't see me getting out in the field ... we'll see.
