HUH ??? $$$ for gears its all pretty much the same with respect to ratio... manuf. will vary drastically... with 33's & up I'd definitely go with 4.88s... talk to Jeff & have him trailer it to Robert's & run some Nitro gears in it... if it's apart put at least a lunchbox locker (Power Trax or Aussie) in it... then you're DONE... 95% of the stuff will be point & shoot... it's an 8.25 so I'd keep the investment on a budget in case you upgrade later on...

I'm telling you, i have the 488's on 33's..I get great MPG and still runs fast on the freeway..But when i go to 35's i am set..My last trip that we did a mileage test, i got 23 per gal...Not bad for a old jeep..

I feel the 4.56s will be O.K. with 33s... nothing special, but the 4.88s will cover both the 33s & the 35s should you up size later...
I'm on custom worn 32s with 4.56s...

No you're right..Talk to jeff, he knows all the crap you need..You will be very happy with 488's...I know if or when i need to buy gears for the wifes, it is going on 488's
