So Cal desert rats

Ur gonna have to show me... I got a cheap fiberglass antenna with tuneable (by cutting) tip, gf's mom has a firestik with the screw top tip... Right now I get better reception with my 4' then she does with her 6' weird huh?

No, yours may have come closer matched than hers. Lots of things can cause a radio to function, or not function correctly. :wow: Scott knows all too well.

You Guy's, google is your Friend. Tone, I will be here tomorrow. Bring the goodies, and I'll help you.

It was $21 for antenna/cable/mount if that helps?

Oh, well, mystery solved.

They usually have a section with the procedure for matching the antenna. Knowing the name of the Mnfr will help alot.

So I should drive over to loves and get info on the one I got from there(brand model etc.?).

Please, that way I can look it up on google and get that info.:patriot:

I'm not sure that $$ is as important as a good tune... Tone if your coaxial is looped it'll degrade the performance...
My 3' Wilson kicks ASS ! and it was... $10 or $12... just work up a good tune Tone...
