If I told you that I bought a fan clutch from Auto zone, what would you say? You'd say "Did you check to see if they sold you the right part?" And I'd say "Why, no, why do you ask?" :dunno: But I can tell you that the ZJ fan clutch, though bigger, can be made to fit with a dremel. :doh:

Got it all back together, but needed to test it. So I took it on the most torturous trail I could think of, 'THE SNOWBIRD TRAIL.' And for a double tough trail, I did it with the Coachella Music Festival traffic thrown in.:explosion 20 in a 50 mph zone, AC on and it didn't get over 210. :) It was cooler two days ago, and I had to disconnect the AC compressor and run the elect fan. to get it to run at 210.
 
So what you're saying is, you could have FIXed the heating problem LAST YEAR...Is this about right? I didn't read into it did i?:confused1

I don't know, but I did a high flow WP also. Power steering problem is the pump, that would be three Auto Zone PSP's in a year. If I was stupid enough to buy another from A Z. I'll get one from NAPA tomorrow.
 
I know after i did my flush on mine it runs alot cooler..But i spent the money to it done at a shop..You know i do all my work, but i found years ago to have a shop flush it..
They will have you on file for your power steering pump i would think..


You know i think i have a spare pump in the garage

The wife just got back from spending the weekend with her mother, she is doing better.. Which is a big load off of her
 
curt i just got off the phone with max, he wants to run the backside to big bear..I know he ask if you would like to run it, didn't he? If you want to do it, can you give me some dates you think you can run it

I'm probably out for awhile... I need to replace ALL the bushing in the rear springs... and time is thin...
So let me know if you go & if my ducks are in a row I might join y'all, but as of now it doesn't look positive... Gold Mtn. & ??

He mentioned Gold Mtn. & John Bull... Cyndee's should be able to run G.Mtn. & depending on the traffic I'd probably knock the rockers a bit... I'd make it just don't feel like bang the XJ right now... and the other stuff I need to do to it...

You know i know a guy who knows a guy that can build and install your rails...I know the pric is perfect for you..Bring your chit over so we can get these built for you..When we get done with them, you'll want to hug us..LOL...We will make you proud to have them on your heep
 
Paul i don't know if you would want to do this..I have heard that you can get body damage on sidewinder... So it would be up to you, it is your life not mine..I don't care if i get dents.
