First pic was in Outer Banks, I think somewhere around milepost 24?. WAAAYYYY up on the offroad beach. A few miles south of the Virginia border.

That looks like the dunes of Kill Devil Hills. I use to live on the mainland just outside Nags Head in Manteo

Actually waaayyyyyy North of Kill Devil Hills. Although that place does have some sick dunes. This was about 2 miles north of Corolla Light. There's an offroad beach up there, by the wild horses and whatnot. I did a lot of blasting through the waves/ocean. I think that'd what rusted my steering/axles/drivetrain in a hurry :O

The actual ocean is about a quarter mile frontwards of the jeep. Keep heading towards the back, and it's nothin but sand

i tried the whole tow hook thing but decided to go with D-ring/tabs.

swapped the BFG AT's for Dunlop Mud Rovers

here it is now.

(mud rovers were great..even at street pressure,slick muddy rock and with 4low..he just crawled up the hill..)
