I can buy an entire XJ Waggy for $500. I want to take it's D44 and put it in my. Does that sound like a good idea?

My only concers are that this ones doesn't have ABS.

If that's a good deal for your area, go for it. Who needs ABS anyway?

If all you're getting out of it is the D44, then it's not really worth it. If you're getting lots of other parts out of it (engine, trans, non-disco front diff, etc) that you need and/or can use, then it's probably a good deal.
