Had cake yesterday (my daughter wanted it more that we did) and called the N.C. Beach trip my B-day present to myself-- got to get away for a day and do what I wanted to --drive 11 hours to hang out for 10 hours. It was really just a chance to get away from everything and "tune out the world"-- a much needed vacation from life. I couldn't have asked for any more, and I got to meet a couple cool guys from the SEC.
All-in-all, a good use of a day off (that I traded for working today)
