Is it possible to run axle shims with a 1 inch block? Is it safe?

I'm not sure about that I with your direct question but i'm running offroad degsign's 1" add a leaf that looks more like a block.-steve

it's possible. in my opinion it is very borderline on safety. the only way I would do it is if the shim and block are both steel, then I would weld them together and to the perch. you wouldn't need to weld much, just a couple of 1" welds.

Look for the steel shims by skyjacker i think that use the leaf spring center bolt to hold them in place. and use steel blocks... the trail masters blocks used to come with the 2 deg in them already..
