Shackles and height

This is one question that can only be answered by a PIC?Both my rigs run the same RE 6" lift with only 1 difference, the shackles,on my 2000 I bought Rusty's shackles which are straight and had to grind the bumper bolts down.It hasnt ever been a problem in 8 years. When I did the 95 I used RE shackles which are clearanced for the bolts!
The guys all ready stressed that the angle(not the shape) is what matters!

What brianho13 is selling is a wonderful product. This comes from someone whos running deaver race packs. I added his drop brackets just to gain some height between the airbump and bump plate. I had what I thought was the perfect shackle angle( 32deg) Well Installed his relocators and ran a 45 deg angle. With these race packs it ran great, super smooth. couldnt ask for more. then the relocators got installed. WOW night and day difference. Shackles at a 45deg made a huge difference. I ran revolvers for the past 10 years and loved them. The only reason I went with a RE boomerang shackle was to clear the longer leafs and that the revolver rubbed the main leaf. Honestly, spend the 130 and get the relocaters. Well worth the money and will adapt to almost any setup you plan in the future. I've come to believe that huge lifts aren't necessary for huge travel. i can max out my 14" travel shocks all the way around.

Go fast. Be safe and jump over ford rangers. (or just make bets that your jeep can out run their 30k+ found on road dead, it works wonders in barstow and glamis)

Here's a poser shot. Keep in mind both wheels stuff way into the fenders. The fronts actually rub a little on the upper coil bucket. Oh you might want to get some BillyHoops from OTR fabwerks, they make the whole package complete. If you want to run proper bumps stops the easiest way is to get ahold of Dirk at DPG and get some spring plates.

in the end all I have to say is that the rear works great. NAXJA sponsors can build you the best stuff avaliable. The last test got me about 4' in the air didnt bottom out and the landing was smooth.the front end will still get deaver coils and BillyBumps installed up front.

From the looks of your photos you can use a little more angle on your shackles. The ride will improve 100X. Get some BillyHoops and be a happy jeeper.
