For those of you in the Colorado Springs area.
We will be meeting at the KFC on the corner of W. Colorado and 31st at 7:30 AM and departing no later than 8:00AM.

Here's the address for those of you that are not familiar with the area.

3101 W. Colorado Avenue

This location will be easy for the Stanton Family to get to since Anna lives very close to there.

For those of you in the Wooldland park area.
We should pass through town at approximately 8:20-8:30. I would suggest staging at the Safeway on Hwy 24. We'll be on Channel 16 and let you know as we approach that location. But we'll all meet in the lot and leave together.

For those of you in the Denver or northern area.
You are welcome to join us in Colorado Springs or you may wish to take HWY 285 south to meet us at the tail head.

Val posted up on CO4x4 about my trail head parking question - will there be plenty of space and she says there will be.

So, Frank, if you'll take care of the 'Springs group, I'll plan on being at the Safeway by 8:30. Lets meet up there and leave Safeway for the trail by 9am.

I'll be driving a blue Dodge dually with the yellow Heep on a trailer.

Anna Stanton has informed Frank and I that she has been unable to line up a pastor/reverend/clergy to do a short service for the memorial.

If anyone knows of someone willing to put together something non-denominational on such short notice and would like to help out, please put them in touch with Frank or myself so we can work out the details.

If this can't be arranged..... it's gonna be up to me to say a few words...... :shiver:

Looks like I'm going to come down to the springs to make the trip. It's only 12 miles shorter to go 285, but takes 35 minutes longer to get there.
