Seth Stanton memorial sticker

Those of us in the Colorado Chapter BOD had been discussing creating a memorial sticker to help benefit the trail cleanup and trail memorial efforts being discussed with the Stanton family.

Once again, DJ (91 Jeep Project) has come through with a fantastic design. I think it is a terrific representation of Seth's committment to the Army, his Country and . We're looking at this sticker to be about 5" in size and using the same high quality vinyl that our Chapter logo was produced with.

I'm in the very early stages of getting this sticker produced, so I do not have a price established yet. With the high number of colors involved, this will raise the cost some, and I'm hoping to get the printer to donate a bit to the effort as well. I would, however like to hear from you all what you'd be willing to pay for it, with the understanding that all proceeds would be going toward the COVHCO/Stanton Family trail memorial effort - or any other charity that the Stanton Family might choose.

I am interested as well. I do not want to offend anyone by a lowball offer, but I would imagine $10-20 mark is a great starting price, I am sure if you can "make a decent" proft at it and people who do buy it do so because they beleive in the cause will have any grips, altleast I will not.

I do beleive in the cause and please PM me once you get all the logistics sorted out, I would be honored to stick it on my Jeep up here in the Arctic!

I really like the sticker and appriciate the effort. I do however have one question and this is asked with the utmost respect. When a troop passes, dont they automatically get promoted one rank? I had heard this when I was in. If this is true then a Specialist ensignia is in order.

Whatever the case is, I would be proud to paste that sticker.

DJ...that is a fantastic design. I'll be in for probably 2 or 3. I really can't imagine price being a huge issue for this cause.

I don't think that's correct. At the funeral Seth was refered to as PFC. Seth Stanton.

they are not always posthumously awarded another rank. depends on what the CO wants to do.



however i will definitely take some when they become available. i know some folks in iraq who'd like those (guys from Seth's unit)

The Chapter will definitely make sure the Stanton Family and Seth's unit get stickers.

Please keep us informed , I will put one on my XJ for sure ... 1 question though will they be inside stickers or outside on the glass stickers ? inside in my mind would be more approporate , as to not get scratched .

These will be outside. Much better detail using the outside kind. The vinyl used is the best quality out there. They're very durable, don't fade and you can wax over them.
