The install isn't all that hard, but is notorious for claiming a little skin off of the knuckles. It is a tight squeeze getting in there to get the bolts out. If I remember right, it helps to pull the plastic radiator shroud.
The rad shroud won't come out by itself. The shroud and fan come out together. Best way is to remove electrical fan, and reach from that side. BTW, 4 nuts, IIRC.

It also helps to unbolt the upper radiator crossmember (10mm bolts, IIRC.) It's not necessary to actually remove the radiator, but it helps to be able to lean it forward that inch you get.

The average service life of the fan clutch is about 3-5 years. If you know it's older than that, replace it. If you're not sure, replace it.

The average service life of the RENIX OEM radiator is about 130-150Kmiles. Same guidelines - but flush the system BEFORE you replace the radiator. No sense crapping up a new radiator by cleaning out your old engine into it. Remove the old radiator after flushing, and you take a lot of crap with it. Oh - it's all copper, and therefore worth a few bucks at the scrap metal yard...
