Lately I have been amusing the thought of selling my first XJ.
I bought a 98 Sport last November and the 97 usually sits around.
Quick specs:
1997 Country fully loaded, 164k miles, 4.0, auto, 4X4, moonroof, wood grain interior accents, chrome grille and headlight doors, clear side markers and turn signal lenses, 3" lift, full coils in front, aal's rear, 31's on Ecco's, custom tail lights, disk brake conversion on rear 8.25, shocks installed to 3" lift, no vibes, rides great on the interstate at 80mph. Other small mods here and there. All monochrome bone white. This unit is the last of the Country editions, hard to find.
And here it is next to my stock 98 Sport
I will not part this out, dont ask. Runs and looks great. Always starts, even during those 25 below zero mornings.
Thinking of going insane with the Sport, big lift, tires, mechanicals.
I have owned the 97 since 2002, always got regualar oil changes, maintenance.
Convince me not to let it go.
