Done! Things started working out great, the pre-load is excellent and between the valve cover, the rockers, and the push-rods it's a lot quieter now.
The only explanation I can come with is "harmonics".......
Were my factory push-rods flexing in some way?
Is the thicker aluminum cover dampening the sound more?
