SB Hot Springs...#3

That's right, the Adventure Brigade is heading back up to the hot springs this weekend! atriot:

Generic fire road to get up there. NO crazy driving due to dirtbikes and mtn bikers on the road. (and last trip's "incident")

We will be staying at the large campground by the ranger station which means we can make noise.

ADVENTURE PASS REQUIRED. If you don't buy one, the ranger DOES come by to give you the "ticket" guaranteed.

My vehicle is leaving West LA around 8pm Friday night due to having to wait for two people from San Diego so anyone who wants to caravan and avoid rush hour traffic from LA is welcome to join me. CB channel 12

Butter is good depending on the meal. Speaking of which:

Potluck Saturday night will be cooked by everyone, but I'm bringing the supplies (and they'll pay me back):

A large tri tip cooked on the tripod over the fire
Sauteed onions and peppers in foil in the coils
Some kind of rice
Garlic Bread

I'm also bringing all the breakfast food for everyone (who will pay me back):
Breakfast tacos of eggs, chorizo & avocado
Bacon, sausage links

You're on your own for anything else, but PLEASE post up if you're going so I can buy accordingly.

Nice! Have fun! Been going back there since I was about 2-yo and I'm now 36. My little kids love it back there, a family tradition. Bring lots of bug repellent, deer flies are nasty back there around this time! Enjoy!

Sound like fun. Ill probably do some dual sport riding up there in sept when I get a break but right now were in the middle of a 36 day whale tagging trip off SoCal with the truthand wont be back till sept 10th. Im planning a tajiguas beach party when I get back though so Ill keep ya in the loop. By the way, the forest pass ticket wont come back to ya through DMV. I have like 4 tickets and I have not heard anything from them trying to collect.

Well, we met up with some girls up there who ended up getting topless. Actually it was quite convenient: We hung out all night and had our tri tip dinner. We sat around and decided to go for a night offroad run to the top of the mountain to call a friend who was supposed to come earlier that day and never showed up. On our way up, we bump into them coming down so we head back to the campsite, start up the fire again and chill. They brought extra beer too. We then went to the hotsprings and the girls they brought went topless. I guess you're not okay with that kinda nudity, eh Julio? :conceited haha
