Save The Gultches Feb 18-21

I wasnt aware of the ride but I'm sure I can make this considering I only live 20 minutes from the place...

It's certainly a good cause and I'd love to see some of you there.

Loki, are you planing on going?! If so, what day?

A large group of us will be there Saturday also.

Loki, what's your crowd gunna look like?

Look for these two: (No, I'm not pulling the samurai with the XJ, lol)

I'm also expecting several friends of mine with TJs and yotas.

If things go well over the next few weeks, I will be in a satin black XJ, if not, I'll be in a nasty "red" xj, either way on Raceline Monsters with 35 treps. Should be with a white stretched white TJ on 37's. As it gets closer I will post up what color the XJ will be.

I'm really interested in seeing your WJ conversion. Mine isn't 100% done (missing spacers) and would like to see what you did there.

if its not raining i ll go. I heard that place is nasty when i rains.

Dude, it's been so damn long... lol

Which spacers are you refering to? The one between the knuckle and the unit bearing?

Ya. When I looked at installing them, I was going to have to space out the brake caliper with a washer to recenter the disc in the caliper. Wanted to look at someone else's to see how it was done, but there are not really and good photos on the net of how other's have done it, so I've been waiting to meet up with someone that has done it.

I've got the spacer welded to the knuckle, 01 TJ unit bearings (I think) and redrilled WJ rotors. Mine didn't need to be spaced out.

If you bring a jack and a lug wrench I'll even let you pull a wheel off and look at it while I eat lunch. lol

waiting on a set of outers to get here then it'll get an alignment.
still have hydro assist to add, lengthen rear shaft about 1.5". then its the radio/cb double din.

really doesnt sound like much.

Might have a floor to do, otherwise I'm down. Maybe I can get my uncle to come from Columbia.

AJ we need to go...... to before it closes?
nevermind GF said we already have plans for her 21 B-day that weekend

If you haven't been to the Gultches in the last 8 months, it's a completely different park now. When I was there it was as dry as a dust bowl and it was a hell of a lot of fun. They changed up a ton of trails about 8 months ago.

oh yeah, It's totally different now. They made the hard trails harder and the easy trails a lot more fun! It really is a blast there. We need a crowd!

My list of todo's before then. Paint exterior, rear axle swap and regears on both axles, oba finished up, interior plastics painted, interior rack mounted, rear suspension seat mounts built, front and rear harness bars fabbed and installed, otk inserts added, leaking radiator pump fixed, headliner installed, LED rears installed, and H4's installed. Oh, and I have to pickup the tires this Friday and get the beadlocks (32 bolts a piece) bolted up.
